“ Several good beers. We liked the Pilsner and the Water Street Wheat. But the fish and chips were superb. Best tartar sauce I've ever had. Definitely homemade. Highly recommend. ”
“ This place rocks. Its always good. I can't say one bad thing about this place. It's one of our go-to's! Service, atmosphere, food selections, drink offerings all are spot on. ”
“ Looking for a Sunday night late dinner. Came and ate at 7:30. Perfect spot for brews, football, and good food. Perfect chill atmosphere. A lot of types of seating: even couches for an upscale bar feel. A seat and order at your pace type of place which I love! Scan the code and order at the bar. We ordered burgers and the steak frites. Friends enjoyed seasonal beers. Great quick spot & friendly staff ! ”
“ Came in for a weekday lunch. The place was empty. No waitstaff, so you order at the bar. The sandwiches (honey chicken and a garlic burger) were both good and came out quickly. Personally, I think the fries were a little cold and needed more salt/flavor. ”
“ This place is the BEST brewery located in cville. It's the sister brewery to Blue Mountain which means their beer selection is unmatched. The atmosphere is incredible. If you ever have the pleasure of coming here during a Bills game you will surely not be disappointed. This doesn't even mention my last experience when I tried their special barbecue mac and cheese. As someone who typically likes their mac and cheese unadulterated my expectations were not sky high (even though all their food is incredible) but man oh man that was an absolutely MIND BLOWING experience. An absolute MUST TRY place if you are in cville. Never fails to disappoint. Not to mention great for groups as they have board games located inside. Bartenders also very very helpful. ”
“ This was nice and close to our downtown hotel, which was especially grand considering they wouldn't let us check in. It was a quick walk across the railroad tracks and we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. We picked a booth. I gotta say I'm not a fan of the bar code/phone thing to look at a menu, but no big deal. Then it was off to the counter (end of the bar) to order. Note: they did have menus up there. Loved that they had a local chardonnay from Dave Matthews winery. Husband found an Amber he liked. I carried our drinks to the table and the guy was nice enough to bring my water and silverware. Both our burgers were terrific! I got the single Hangover burger, which was plenty big enough with the addition of the egg. It was perfectly seasoned and balanced flavors. Husband loved his double. Note: fries are the way to go here as they are hand-cut. ”
“ Was able to walk in at 6 pm on Sat and pick out table. It did get busier and there were a few folks waiting for tables as we left around 7. Typical pub atmosphere. Was a little dark for me and a little cool. Service is a little strange. We have to order everything at the bar. They hand you single beers and bring flights, drinks, and food to your table. Flights were also a little strange. You have a choose of six on the left side of the menu (lighter), six on the right side (darker), or all 12. There is no picking and choosing. I went with a right side flight since I like darker beers. Beers were good. Elderberry mule was also good. Food was okay. Sandwiches were good but the fries and tots were very greasy. Also seems like a small portion of tots for the price. All in all, I'd go again, just know what to expect. ”
“ We ordered the 1/2 lb cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and jalapenos. Added tater tots. Very good and really like the taste of the burger and the tater tots did not have that greasy taste of them like some do. Very much recommend this place the bartenders were very nice and attentive. ”
